During this time she also administered the Department of Local Affairs (DoLA) Regional Mini Grant program while assisting with SLV Enterprise Zone project management.
During the pandemic, she was offered the position of Economic Recovery Coordinator at the SLVDRG. She now serves as Executive Director of the organization.

In this role, she managed budgets, financial reporting, and utility billing, as well as overseeing grants and loans for the town.
With a strong background in municipal finance, Shawn is excited to bring her expertise to SLVDRG, where she continues to expand her knowledge of nonprofit business accounting. She looks forward to contributing to the organization’s mission and supporting economic development in the San Luis Valley.
