The San Luis Valley Business Loan Fund provides financing for business expansion, retention, and start-ups. Businesses must be able to provide or retain permanent full time equivalent jobs, filling 60% of the positions with low-moderate income persons. We are a gap financer and encourage bank participation. We do not compete with or replace local lending institutions. We are not a lender of last resort; however, our programs are not usually as restrictive as banks. Loan proceeds can be used for:
- Real estate
- Working capital
